Shareholder Engagement (Proxy Solicitation)
Part Time Casual Position
This is a casual position suited to students interested in gaining exposure into financial markets/Investor Relations/Corporate Communications. You will work closely with FIRST Advisers’ highly experienced professionals to ensure quality service and excellent client outcomes. In this role you will gain exposure to some of Australia’s leading ASX listed companies and play an integral part in implementing strategic communication with their key investors and stakeholders.
The role will involve direct support to the Shareholder Engagement team through a range of activities including (but not limited to) assisting in various stages of proxy solicitation campaigns for all types of corporate transactions and shareholder intelligence gathering. You will possess excellent customer service skills and an outstanding telephone manner.
Flexibility with hours is desirable.
Applicants must have a valid working visa.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
